Definition
UNSPSC 10101908A type of poisonous spider whose scientific name is latrodectus mactans, an araneomorph, the largest of the theridiidae family. The female has a red sand clock-shape stain in the lower side of the abdomen. It can be found in warm, dark places such as woodpiles. However, it also builds nests on plants. The black widows venom is mainly neurotoxic. It is also known as arana de lino or cuyucha, arana del trigo or arana de poto colorado, capulina spider, cazanpulga spider, American black widow.
